Ms. Dušanka Golubović was born in Sombor, where she finished elementary school and Gymnasium. She graduated from the Faculty of Law from the University of Belgrade in 2005. After two years of internship in the law office, since 2007, she has been employed in the City Administration of the City of Sombor. She worked in the City Administration as an expert associate in the area of social and health care, Head of the Department for General Affairs in Public Services and Financial Support to the Families with Children, Assistant Mayor and Head of the Department for Social Activities. She was appointed Chief of the City Administration in 2015 and performed these duties until her election for the Mayor of the City of Sombor. She was elected as Mayor on the constitutive session of the Assembly of the City of Sombor on June 8, 2016. In the period from 2016 to the end of 2017, she was a member of the Board of Directors of the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED). She was elected President of the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM) with a two-year mandate in December 2017. Ms. Golubović still performs the duties of Vice-President for the Network of Associations of Local Authorities of South-East Europe. She speaks English and German. Ms. Golubović is married and a mother of two children, Dunja and Luka.
